NO TO DATA CENTERS

It is despicable to build data centers anywhere but I cannot accept one being built so near to my home and so near to our incredibly vulnerable communities. New Mexico is experiencing droughts worse than any before and you expect us to hand over 1 MILLION gallons of water a day?! Our Rio Grande is already completely dry in Albuquerque and it’s not even summer yet. Farmers and ranchers who provide for our entire state and more depend on this water, they already can’t get enough. Data centers kill. This is pure evil, there is no other word for it. You take our land, you take our water, you pollute us, you starve our community of vital resources and you want us to just roll over? Do not build here. New Mexico water IS NOT FOR SALE. We are not for sale. OpenAI, ChatGPT, Oracle and others are only operating for the short lived profit of the billionaire class. They don’t expect the human race to survive, in fact they are actively working so that it won’t. They do not care about the harm they cause. The only thing that matters to them is that the checks keeping coming and their profits keep rising.
